The highly unique Acoustic Design Roland VAD306 drum kit is, in fact, entirely electronic. The biggest difference between this kit and the VAD503/506 is that you're getting a more compact setup driven by a TD-17 module. While the design has been slimmed-down, this kit still comes with a set of genuine wooden shells.
The Roland VAD306
The configuration of the Roland VAD306 looks fairly standard: two 10-inch hanging toms, a 12-inch floor tom, 12-inch snare, and an 18-inch kick. The toms are pretty shallow while the kit is supported by a set of double-braced and chrome-plated DSC-10 stands and an APC-30 clamp to mount the module. In terms of cymbals, you get a 12-inch VH-10 V-hi-hat, two 12-inch CY-12C crashes, and a 13-inch CY-13R ride.
The Roland TD-17
The brain of the VAD306 comes encased in the form of the Roland TD-17 module and packed with sounds lifted from the flagship Roland TD-50 module. Bluetooth functionality has been thoughtfully included for wireless streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, your own samples can be loaded in and played, and the module itself can even be directly connected to computer.

Perfect drumstel. Mel een enorme klus om het de eerste keer uit te pakken en op te stellen maar wel leuk al die cadeautjes want alles is apart verpakt. Degelijk spul ben er blij mee.
Heb de kit nu twee weken in huis en hij drumt fantastisch. Hele snelle respons, goede vellen en mooi natuurlijk uiterlijk.
Ik Heb hem gekocht voor in de woonkamer, maar zou hem zo meenemen het podium op.
De Roland E drumstellen zijn altijd van hele degelijke kwaliteit en hebben een fantastische feel, maar de VAD306 is feel op een ander niveau. Het drumstel wordt geleverd in 2 grote dozen met een duidelijke algemene handleiding hoe je alles monteert en plaatst. Verder worden de attributen zoals de snare, toms bekkens en hihat voorzien van een aparte handleiding zodat je deze in detail kunt afstellen en monteren. Alle attributen zijn van zeer hoge kwaliteit, en hebben een fantastische respons. De bassdrum, de toms en de snare zijn gemaakt van echt hout, en voelen daarom authentiek aan. Dit zie je, maar je merkt het ook tijdens het spelen. Het voelt als een akoestische drumstel. De meegeleverde drummodule (TD-17) creeërt een realistische drumervaring, waarbij je alle onderdelen tot in detail kunt aanpassen. De TD17 is voorzien van Bluetooth connectiviteit zodat je draadloos je favoriete nummers kunt streamen. Ook met eventuele plugins werkt de TD-017 module super. Roland heeft er zelfs aan gedacht om een plateau voor je tablet/smartphone op de drummodule te monteren, zodat je deze dicht bij de module kunt houden om zo sneller een ander nummer te selecteren. Ook is er een fysieke hoofdtelefoon ingang te vinden. Je moet er wel op letten dat je zelf het hi-hat statief, het snarestatief, het bassdrumpedaal en de drumkruk los erbij moet bestellen.

- Voor stokken is deze een goede keuze: Vic Firth 5AN nylon tip
Het bovengenoemde zitten dus niet inbegrepen in het pakket. Kies ook drumstokken met een nylon tip. Drumstokken met een houten tip kunnen op den duur gaan splinteren en de drumvellen beschadigen.
Het drumstel is samen met de aparte onderdelen zeer goed verpakt verzonden en bezorgt met Transmission.
Kortom, een super professioneel drumstel die qua prijs kwaliteit zeker aan mijn verwachtingen voldoet.
De Roland VAD 306 is een top in de E drums geweldig except zowel voor het oog als en gebruik,met de td17 module.
Geweldige respons, goede feeling , geweldige klanken sounds, een aanrader voor wie nog wil leren, maar ook zeker voor gevorderde en profspelers.
Ik gebruik het nu thuis ivm Corona maar ben ervan overtuigd dat het via pa installatie op podia zijn mannetje kan staan.
Ben zeer tevreden, ook service bij Bax is super. Een tevreden klant🎶🥁

At this very moment, the line-up includes a total of three electronic drum kits, each of which is nearly impossible to tell apart from a real acoustic kit: the VAD506, the VAD503 and the VAD306.
